  • Director of Retention

    The Director of Retention will report to the CMO and Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for providing data driven insights and recommendations across the digital marketing funnel with the objective to grow top-line revenue by retaining and nurturing existing customers. This role will be responsible for tracking and analyzing KPIs measuring the performance of retention initiatives including promotions, digital advertising, email marketing, the DTC website, and loyalty & referral programs. This role will lead a team and work cross-functionally to develop and implement optimization strategies across channels informed by data driven insights.


    Responsibilities

    —Establish analytics infrastructure and processes to comprehensively measure customer LTV and digital marketing KPIs across programs and channels

    —Improve segmentation and remarketing capabilities through cohort analysis and tracking KPI performance across the customer lifecycle

    —Create test-and-learn strategies to optimize marketing programs across channels

    —Work cross-functionally to provide data driven insights and implement optimization strategies across digital customer touchpoints

    —Manage DTC website optimizing for retention, working with in-house development team to assess engagement and conversion performance, proposing tests to inform improvements

    —Manage deployment of email marketing campaigns and retention flows based on high converting optimization insights that leverage A/B testing to refine email marketing strategies along dimensions such as messaging, subject lines, creative, customer segmentation, personalization, email scheduling & triggers, frequency etc.

    —Test and refine loyalty & referrals programs to convert, retain, and re-engage key customer segments and monitor comprehensive performance of the programs; Work cross functionally to implement optimization strategies for the loyalty & referrals programs across customer touchpoints


    Requirements

    —Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of hands-on experience in e-commerce digital marketing and advertising (e.g. email, social, display), experience building loyalty and referral programs and CPG industry experience a plus 

    —Proven track record developing data driven insights and strategies that improve key metrics for digital marketing channels such as reach, engagement, & conversions 

    —Proficient in analytics programs such as Excel, Alteryx, Tableau; experience with SQL/R a plus

    —Extensive experience with email management, segmentation, and digital marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Google Analytics); experience with business intelligence or e-commerce analytics tools a plus

    —Intensely data-driven with persistent desire to perform tests and analyze data to inform strategic decisions and improve performance

    —Highly-motivated and self-directed critical thinker - develops problem solving approach, executes tests, analysis, & evaluations, approaches leadership with a perspective on solutions backed by data-driven insights, and works cross-functionally to implement the aligned strategy

    —Exceptional communications skills with attention to detail, clear and concise both to the founders and team as well as our customers and community

    —Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally to deliver strategic goals while building a cohesive workplace and community

  • Brand Manager

    This role will report directly to the Senior Brand Manager with broad exposure to comprehensive marketing initiatives at Fur. The role will be responsible for building the Fur community and strengthening brand and content creator partnerships, requiring strong communication and organizational skills, with the opportunity for professional growth and career building as we scale our brand significantly over the next few years.     Responsibilities

    —Manage long term, meaningful relationships with influencers that share Fur’s mission and values

    —Manage and optimize affiliate program, keeping affiliates empowered and engaged with brand initiatives

    —Lead outreach to journalists for press events, interviews, and product seeding

    —Develop partnerships and collaboration opportunities with other brands 

    —Drive marketing efforts on social platforms, including pitching and creating content to align with marketing initiatives 

    —Manage Fur’s blog, including pitching content, writing entries, and inviting guest bloggers to create content

    —Direct the design team in content creation and photo/video shoots to ensure creation of marketable assets


    Requirements

    —Strong copywriting skills is a must - understands the Fur brand voice and able to express it across mediums

    —At least 3-5 years of experience with social media marketing

    —Experience with Shopify, Refersion, and Buffer a plus

    —Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage many moving parts

    —Ability to use engagement and sales data to assess success of marketing initiatives

    —Familiarity with the beauty landscape at large, including brands, retailers, and trends

    Role & Responsibilities

    This role will provide strategic support across the entire Fur business including direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and professionals channels in revenue driving capacities. Responsibilities will include analytic and project management support for continuous improvement opportunities across functions. Critically, this role will support data-driven decisions across the business. Some examples of tactical activities may include:

    —Identifying and quantifying opportunities for growth across channels

    —Comprehensive assessment of the marketing funnel, including acquisition and retention

    —Facilitating execution of continuous improvement projects across the business

    —Optimizing functionality across customer touch points

    —Supporting data and analytics capabilities across functional areas

    —Identifying and implementing repeatable process improvements across functional areas

    —Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for project execution

    —Assessing competitive offerings, proposing improvements to the Fur value proposition

     

    Key Skills

    —Comfortable and competent at identifying strategic value and creating / implementing initiatives that capture that value

    —Strong analytical skillset with Excel modeling capabilities (knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, R, or other analytics programs a plus)

    —Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver strategic goals

    —Exceptional communications skills with attention to detail, both to the Founders, the team, our customers and community

    —Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably 3-5 years experience in strategy consulting or an MBA (must be familiar with P&L / Balance Sheet analysis)

  • Junior Graphic Designer

    Responsibilities

    —Create digital graphics and imagery for social channels, blog, and email marketing 

    —Create animated typography and graphics for use in video and web campaigns

    —Create and update print & digital collateral for brand and retail partners, including retail POS

    —Support production design for print and digital materials

    —Support organization and execution of photoshoots

    —Maintain knowledge base of relevant competitive branding initiatives and design trends in the overall beauty & skincare industry


    Requirements

    —At least 1-3 years experience applying graphic design skills in a professional environment; skilled at using typography and visual composition to establish mood and tone

    —Proficiency in core Adobe suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required, knowledge of After Effects is a plus

  • General Intern

    Fur seeks a natural problem-solver with a strong understanding of our brand to take on a wide variety of tasks. This position would work closely with the Assistant Manager of Customer Experience, but would be exposed to many aspects of the business. They would also work closely with the Manager of Brand, helping to cultivate a social media presence that is at the head of a community of influencers, body-positive activists, and beauty experts. This is a great opportunity for a college student to gain experience across teams, learn about the beauty industry, work with great people, and help cultivate a community in an environment that will foster personal and professional growth.

    Responsibilities

    —Seeking out on-brand content to post to our social channels

    —Assist in maintaining our relationships with influencers, bloggers, and affiliate program members

    —Engage with fans on social channels and respond to their questions promptly

    —Assist in fielding questions from incoming press

    —Answer customer service questions and emails 

    —Assist customers live via web chat

    —Liaise with our fulfillment team to coordinate returns, missing packages, and unfulfilled orders

    —Respond to our Instagram DMs

    —Moderate Facebook comments & DMs 

    —Moderate incoming product reviews on the Yotpo platform

    —Other projects may include assisting our Product Development team with research or our Wholesale team with sales and marketing, among other potential activities
