  • VP of Operations

    Fur is seeking a VP of Operations, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including supply chain management, retailer and inventory planning, coordination with 3PL partners, and critically, product launch timelines. The VP of Operations will manage a team consisting of an Operations Associate and an Accounts & Logistics Administrator, and should be comfortable working cross-functionally with the Business Development, Product Development, and Marketing teams. The VP of Operations will report directly to the CEO. 

    Responsibilities:

    —Manage supply chain timelines, processes, and negotiations for all new product launches and existing product replenishment, working closely with the Senior Manager of Product Development to ensure alignment across functional teams

    —Create production calendar for both new and existing products, with detail on timing for sourcing, freighting, and warehouse delivery for both componentry and finished goods

    —Align critical path members to ensure adherence to this calendar

    —Coordinate retail launch logistics with Fur’s Head of Business Development 

    —Manage relationship with 3PL to ensure inventory is available in the right quantities, including managing freight and logistics to and from our warehouse and fulfillment center

    —Negotiate with 3PL and freight companies to ensure best service rates

    —Work with Operations Associate primarily in sourcing suppliers of components & finished goods and issuing POs to create a seamless supply chain 

    —Explore new business opportunities and markets for Fur to expand into

    —Collaborate closely with Product Dev, Marketing, and Creative teams on timings for new product sampling, photoshoots, and marketing initiatives

    Skills Requirements:

    —7+ years experience in an Operations / Supply chain at a beauty products or CPG company preferred; Experience managing product launch timelines is required

    —Critical attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure no ball is dropped

    —Excellent negotiation skills, particularly with third party vendors 

    —Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as analytical and problem solving skills

    —Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) a plus

    —Passion for the Fur brand and our mission to destigmatize body hair

    —Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction towards the collective goal of building a business

  • Head of Partnerships and Influencer Marketing

    Fur is looking for an experienced Head of Partnerships and Influencer Marketing to own and lead our strategy, build and nurture partnerships and continue to grow our Influencer and Affiliate programs for the brand across two website properties. In this role, you will report to the SVP of Digital Marketing and develop a thoughtful and scalable strategy (across paid and unpaid) that helps drive greater brand awareness, content, growth, and revenue. You will be working very closely with our Organic Social and Paid Marketing team members.

    Responsibilities:

    Influencer

    —Build a growth strategy for influencers that balances influencer size, to segment or type (KOL, beauty, esthetician, lifestyle, etc) of influencers, and attach them to our marketing funnel.

    —Build a roadmap for success and spearhead VIP, Macro, Celebrity Influencers for Fur.  

    —Refine and scale Fur’s influencer efforts from mostly Instagram and TikTok, and build out for other new channels.

    —Work the entire journey from negotiating paid and organic partnerships with influencers, to affiliate communications, and be able to do cold branded outreach.

    —Build a core team of Fur brand ambassadors to drive growth and traffic.

    —Amp up our gifting program to make it something different in the space and desirable.

    —Own influencer activation and events end to end.

    —Own brand gifting and full execution of Influencer and VIP presentations including planning with Operations while collaborating with Brand Manager(s) and Content team members on boxes, gifting suites etc. 

    —Own and measure efforts and ROI with data and KPIs.

    Affiliate / referral

    —Scale and build onto our growing Affiliate and Referral programs to incorporate a growth strategy and metrics that will reflect commission but also performance and ROI.

    —Continually test and learn and seek to build transparent attribution to brand sales.

    Partnerships

    —Work closely with organic and paid digital marketing team members to build out Fur’s partnership/influencer and affiliate strategies so that they are 360 across organic/paid/digital/omni-channel/retail.

    —Own the calendar of brand partnerships and tie in to our existing project and launch calendars.

    —Run project management and the end to end tactical pieces of influencer, affiliate and partnerships at Fur. This will include strategy, briefing, content creation, tracking, results reporting, and ongoing optimization towards ROI and other core KPIs.

    —Work with SVP of Digital on data attribution so that we are constantly learning and agile on strategy and growth needs.

    Requirements:

    —3+ years managing successful affiliate, referral, influencer and partnership marketing programs, ideally in skincare/beauty or lifestyle.

    —Ability to see the big picture and end to end process, always driving success and efficiency. 

    —A solid understanding of ROI and the metrics off of programs you are responsible for to use that data to drive decision making.

    —The ability to work with various types of people (various sizes of influencers, content creators, celebrity, agents). Past experience and a working strategy is a must.

    —Experience working with various tools needed to operate influencer and affiliate programs.

    —A proven track record of program scale (contributions to brand building, sales and overall financial ROI).

    —Working knowledge of social media and a finger on the pulse of celebs, influencers and brands on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

    —A strong understanding of the digital media landscape with expertise in building and launching multi-channel campaigns that might include a display, video, sponsored content, native, email newsletters, blogs, or social media.

    —Previous experience working events, or existing relationships with event vendors a plus.

    —Excellent communication skills and exceptional ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external partners.

    —Ability to work cross-functionally with our Sales and Marketing team and often under tight deadlines.

    —Existing relationships with influencers and beauty editors are a plus.

  • [Temporary] Accounts & Logistics Administrator – August 2022 through December 2022

    The Accounts and Logistics Administrator role is a temporary position for August 2022 through December 2022, with the possibility of staying on full-time as an operations associate.

    The Accounts and Logistics Administrator will be responsible for fulfilling all retailer POs and managing accounts receivable (AR). Furthermore, this person will liaise frequently with Fur’s 3PL to track all incoming and outgoing inventory, shipping, freight, and logistics to and from the warehouse / fulfillment center. This person should have a strong attention to detail, be extremely organized, and be able to communicate clearly with external vendors. We also strongly prefer candidates with experience in QuickBooks and other retailer logistics platforms. The Accounts and Logistics Administrator will report directly to the Senior Manager of Operations & Product Development. 

    —Fulfill all incoming retailer POs and maintain communication with retail accounts throughout the fulfillment process

    —Ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion and according to the customer's specifications

    —Liaise with third party fulfillment provider (3PL) to ensure inventory is available in the right quantities; also responsible for managing freight and logistics for retail POs from Fur’s fulfillment center

    —Keeping AR clean and current, which involves creating and sending invoices for all retail sales, booking in received payments, credit memos, etc. 

    Skills & Requirements:

    —Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and retailer logistics platforms (e.g., EDI, Tradestone) strongly preferred

    —Deep experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and basic Google applications (e.g., Sheets, Slides) required - must love spreadsheets!

    —Degree/significant coursework and/or work experience in accounting/AR preferred

    —Previous experience in inventory management and 3PL operations preferred

    —Critical attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure no ball is dropped
