  • Operations Associate

    Description: 

    The Operations Associate will be responsible for day-to-day operations including retailer and inventory management, coordinating with 3PL partners, and assisting with product development. Ideally, this person can also grow into a trusted partner with our largest accounts, helping Fur communicate critical brand information (e.g. value proposition, specifics of new launches, marketing and collaboration opportunities) to these partners.

    Responsibilities:

    -Communicate logistics & launches with retail partners (e.g. Ulta, Nordstrom), including new retailer onboarding, fulfilling POs, AR, and general account management

    -Liaise with our 3PL to ensure inventory is available in the right quantities, including managing freight and logistics to and from our warehouse and fulfillment center

    -Assist with product development and sourcing, including sourcing suppliers of components & finished goods and issuing POs to create a seamless supply chain. 

    Skills Requirements:

    -Critical attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure no ball is dropped

    -Previous experience in account management, operations, or product development / sourcing encouraged 

    -Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as analytical and problem solving skills

    -Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) or retailer logistics platforms (e.g. EDI, Tradestone) a plus

    -Passion for the Fur brand and our mission to destigmatize body hair

    -Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction towards the collective goal of building a business

  • Director of Professionals Marketing

    This role will report directly to CEO Laura Schubert and the Executive Leadership Team. It will encompass many varied activities and is perfect for a flexible, creative self-starter and problem solver who wants to build a business. It is essential that the person can roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty as we scale our brand significantly over the next few years. Most importantly, this person must be passionate about the Fur brand and our mission to destigmatize body hair.

    Role & Responsibilities

    This person will act as the Director of Marketing for our wholesale business catering to beauty professionals. Performance will be measured against specific revenue and profitability milestones for this channel. This is your chance to take a business that has strong early traction and completely build out the identified opportunity.

    Our professionals business is conducted through our gated website furprofessionals.com. The Head of Professionals Marketing would oversee a team of 1-3 people with strategic priorities to increase the number of accounts on furprofessionals.com as well as serve and grow our existing accounts. Some examples of tactical activities may include:

    Attract new accounts:

    -Create and execute roadmap for expanding paid digital marketing efforts 

    -Actively engage with relevant communities and forums including salons, spas, schools, and estheticians

    -Optimize referral and loyalty programs

    Serve & grow existing accounts:

    -Design marketing campaigns for email, social media, and other relevant channels 

    -Strengthen stakeholder community and increase engagement on our professionals-focused social media platform

    -Optimize the furprofessionals.com website in terms of functionality, product offerings, and content

    -Innovatively collaborate with other brands to expand the Fur value proposition

    -Create materials and other content to help accounts market Fur products and build a better business

     

    Key Skills:

    -Comfortable and competent at identifying strategic value and creating / implementing marketing campaigns that capture that value

    -Exceptional communicator with attention to detail, both to the Founders, the team, our customers and community

    -Experience leading teams to deliver strategic goals while building camaraderie and community

    -Must know their way around a P&L / Balance Sheet and be comfortable analyzing data to draw out key implications for the business

    -Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably 3-5 years experience in marketing and experience founding and/or scaling a DTC brand

  • Social Media Marketing Intern

    Fur seeks someone who can really tap into our brand identity and grow our community even further to join our marketing team. Our social media presence, especially on Instagram, is at the head of a community of influencers, body-positive activists, and beauty experts. This position would work closely with the Manager of Brand. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in marketing, learn about the beauty industry, work with great people, and help cultivate a community in an environment that will foster personal and professional growth.

    Responsibilities:

    —Seeking out on-brand content to post to our social channels

    —Helping to create copy and styling for email marketing

    —Maintain our relationships with influencers, bloggers, and affiliate program members

    —Continue to build out our affiliate program

    —Write pieces for our blog

    —Engage with fans on social channels and respond to their questions promptly

    —Field questions from incoming press

    Requirements:

    —Excitement for our product line

    —Engaged with our core mission

    —Ability to understand and utilize our brand voice

    —Able to commit to 2-3 days/week or more 

    —Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • General Intern

    Fur seeks someone who is a natural problem-solver ready to take on a wide variety of tasks. This position would work closely with the Customer Experience Assistant Manager, but would be exposed to many aspects of the business. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in many fields, learn about the beauty industry, work with great people, and help cultivate a community in an environment that will foster personal and professional growth. 

    Responsibilities:

    —Answer customer service questions and emails on at least one day of the weekend

    —Compile data on customer experience emails

    —Assist customers live via web chat

    —Liaise with our fulfillment team to coordinate returns, missing packages, and unfulfilled orders

    —Respond to our Instagram DMs

    —Moderate Facebook comments & DMs 

    —Moderate incoming product reviews on the Yotpo platform

    —Other projects may include assisting our Product Development team with research or our Wholesale team with sales and marketing, among other potential activities

    Requirements:
