When we founded Fur, we knew we needed to start with a product that not only combat the taboo against body hair, but a product that was incredibly effective without sacrificing quality. Get to know our signature product, Fur Oil:
What does Fur Oil do?
The best thing about Fur Oil is that it works with any skin care or hair care routine, whether you choose to remove your body hair or not! Whether you wax, shave, laser, or keep your body hair, Fur Oil will keep your hair silky soft and skin smooth and ingrown-free.
What is Fur Oil made of?
Before Fur Oil, the only products on the market meant for pubic skin were full of alcohols, acids, and added fragrances. Even worse, most products that are marketed towards pubic skin or hair removal are not gynecologically tested. That’s why it was a no brainer for us that Fur Oil should be 100% natural, vegan, cruelty-free and facial-grade, and both dermatologically and gynecologically tested. Our formula is free of mineral oil, silicones, parabens, synthetic fragrances, or artificial dyes, and packed with high quality ingredients. Get to know a few of our favorites:
Grape Seed Oil
Grapeseed Oil is a vitamin E, D, and C complex that hydrates the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It’s a dry touch oil, so you won’t have to wait forever for it to dry before getting dressed.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba Oil is a liquid wax derived from the jojoba plant that mimics the body’s natural moisturizing properties to soften hair and skin, and absorbs quickly. Another moisturising dry touch oil, it’s mimicry of the body’s natural moisturizing abilities make it easy for your skin to absorb it and sop up its benefits.
Clary Sage Oil
Clary Sage Oil is an essential antibacterial oil and astringent that soothes redness and irritation—perfect for those who remove their hair.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is a key ingredient in almost all the products in the Fur line, and it’s easy to see why. It’s a powerful antimicrobial essential oil that eliminates excess sebum in the pores to prevent ingrowns and speeds up the skin’s healing process. In other words, it replaces the need for alcohols and acids, which overly dry out the skin.
How do you use Fur Oil?
It’s easy! After a soak or shower, reach for Fur Oil and apply it anywhere you’re feeling dry, or ingrown prone. Fur Oil works great anywhere hair meets skin, like your underarms, chest, legs, face, or pubic area. It’s residue free, and the scent disappears within minutes and absorbs quickly. For best results, use Fur Oil as a daily regimen for softer skin and hair, and fewer ingrowns over time.
