Every December, we take a minute to look back on the year we’ve had as a brand and drum up a few exciting numbers that are lovingly referred to as Fur-o-nomics. This year, nine stats stood out.

Fur turned seven years old.

Many brands come and go, but we’re happy to be in our seventh year of business! Cheers to many more years of Fur inviting us all to revel in the very best and most importantly, to take care, everywhere.

30 full-time employees work at Fur.

Not including the many babies our team welcomed to their families this year, both human and animal, the Fur team is comprised of thirty hard-working, talented people! Our small-but-mighty team makes sure your packages get to you, your DMs get answered, and most importantly, that our formulas work for you, however you take care of your hair. And as always, Fur remains women-founded and women-owned, with zero outside investment.

12 Fur Experts joined the team.

Our new expert-driven panel is comprised of twelve esthetician experts handpicked by the Fur Team to educate and guide you on how to take care of your hair and skin, through ingredient deep dives, product tutorials, and more. With years of knowledge in the body hair and grooming industry, these experts are ready to answer any question you may have to empower you to groom your way, every day.

Three new products launched this year.

With the launch of Ingrown Microdart Patch, Ingrown Deodorant, and Ingrown Eliminator Serum in a rollerball format, we’ve got you covered with solutions to treat ingrowns, hyperpigmentation, and bumps everywhere from head to toe.

70 days later, Ingrown Deodorant completely sold out.

Underarm care was an oft-overlooked part of our routines—Ingrown Deodorant changed that, then was gone in a flash. What was meant to be a year’s supply of product was gone in just over two months. Interested in trying our do-it-all deodorant for yourself? Sign up here to be the first to know when it comes back.

16.3 million people watched #IngrownMicrodartPatch content on Tiktok.

Is #IngrownCore a thing yet? If it is, let us know over on our Tiktok. Millions of people were tuning into Ingrown Microdart Patch content, and it didn’t even have to learn a viral dance to get your attention—its innovative microdart technology spoke for itself.

Ingrown Microdart Patch won five awards.

Scooping up prestigious awards like Harper's Bazaar Icon Award and the GQ Grooming Award to name a few, the first-of-its-kind microdart patch designed specifically for ingrown hairs made waves! Beauty editors and experts spoke to Ingrown Microdart Patch’s ingrown-targeting, yet soothing formula as a standout in the beauty world.

Over 200 articles featured Fur.

From Vogue, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, WWD, Allure, Bustle, Byrdie, and beyond, Fur was the name on everybody’s lips this year. Our mission to take body hair to the mainstream wouldn’t be possible without the journalists and writers who test out our products and amplify our message.

While we hope body hair and pubic care becomes so mainstream it’s not worth mentioning, we do plan on continuing to fight against the taboo and put out innovative, newsworthy products—stay tuned!

Every four minutes, a Fur Oil gets sold.

Whether you’re trying it out for the first time or re-upping on your favorite, we love that you love Fur Oil. The product that started it all, Fur Oil was created in 2014 to condition both pubic hair and skin, in a landscape dominated by body care products focused solely on hair removal.

That’s a wrap on 2023! To our friends and fans both old and new, we couldn’t do it without all of you. See you next year!
